This song came from a project that didn't quite see the light of day. The project was inspired by the 70's Italian 'Giallo' movies that while somewhat formulaic, had an aesthetic quality that has led to a cult following. Such films, directed by the likes of Argento, Bava and Fulci always had a sense of unease and malevolence which we've incorporated into this song with the music box chime, strange backing vocals and obviously the lyrical subject matter.
